Last week was a really interesting time, as I was part of the team that carried out a hybrid Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for an impressive TPR STD 600 tablet coater from Romaco Tecpharm. I was part of the team in Barcelona, along with a client representative present on-site, and my role was to create a remote experience for our client who joined us from Pakistan. This meant directing and coordinating the entire streaming setup, from strategically placing cameras to managing the network connection, configuring the viewing platform, and ensuring clear audio feeds. It’s more than just setting up equipment; it’s about creating a virtual environment where everyone feels connected and involved.
Hybrid FATs like this demonstrate the power of technology to overcome geographical distances, offering significant cost savings by reducing travel. The high-quality images and clear communication lines allow for the same level of interaction and scrutiny as an in-person visit. But technology alone is not enough. The success of this FAT was also a testament to the incredible teamwork and expertise of the Romaco Tecpharm Barcelona team. Their collaboration, combined with the right hardware and software, allowed us to reach a crucial milestone efficiently and effectively.
Ultimately, it’s about building strong relationships with our clients and ensuring they trust our solutions, no matter where in the world they are. Being able to contribute to that process is quite rewarding.
